ERDF - Tees Valley Business

We are a Delivery Partner within the Tees Valley Business Start Up project. This is a business start-up project being delivered across Tees Valley to assist potential entrepreneurs to become enterprise ready and ultimately self-employed. This is part funded by European Regional Development Fund.

Helping you start your business is our work, but also our passion.

As organisation’s EMS and Enterprise Revolution for the last five years have contributed 40% of the cost of running the ERDF programme aimed at helping businesses start up and build and grow their businesses in the Tees Valley.

This almost £500,000 investment we have made into the Tees Valley, specifically into the Redcar and Cleveland, Middlesbrough and Stockton on Tees areas is because we believe in the areas and the people where we are based and where we come from.

We know the people of the Tees Valley are entrepreneurial and have an massive set of ambitions for change and growth.

The scheme works as such:

Initially you will meet with your allocated business adviser who will develop a package of support specifically for your own start up needs.

The support is fully-funded and includes a variety of workshops along with specific one to one support where you cover everything you need to start and grow your own business in a supportive environment where you have the opportunity to meet and network with others also looking to start a business. These include topics like:

  • Business planning
  • Sales and marketing
  • Social media
  • Company structure
  • Finance for your business
