The EMS Group of companies which consists of Enterprise Made Simple, Enterprise Revolution CIC and Hypestar are currently going through a period of unprecedented growth.

This growth has resulted in the recruitment of a number of staff over the last months and the addition of office bases in Durham and Newcastle. We are looking to add to the teams further with the urgent recruitment of further key members of the organisations.

Business Advisor – up to £24,000 based Tees Valley – Permanent position

An experienced Business Advisor sought, with past experience of working with developing or established businesses.

Somebody who is empathetic and has experience of running or is still running a business on an evening or weekend basis would be ideal.

Our business advisors are hardworker’s with a customer first attitude, along with a thirst to learn and develop their own range of skills and experiences.

Trainee Business Advisor – £18,000 based Tees Valley – Permanent Position

We are currently looking to meet people who have experience of running their own business or experience of helping develop a small business to train as a Business Advisor.

This role is ideal for someone looking to establish a route into business advice where training and development are at the forefront of develop ambition.

This is a role for somebody who wants to learn, develop and focus on helping our clients achieve their results.

Our learners range in age from 15 – 80 years so the ability to communicate at all levels is essential. Experience of delivering accredited training is also highly attractive for the role.

Administrator – up to £16,000 based Middlesbrough, Permanent Position

An experienced administrator is required to join our growing team. A helpful and resourceful individual who works well in a team environment and under time constraint pressure is essential.

The role requires someone with a great telephone manner, some one who is outgoing and has experience of Word, Excel and other databases and programs.

Ideally some experience of working with European funding regimes or in a Learning environment.

Digital Trainer up to £24,000 based Newcastle , Permanent Position

The ideal candidate would be an experienced educator with demonstrable skills in education, teaching or similar. A teaching qualification would be highly desirable.

The technical skills necessary to deliver workshops and training will be provided to you, so previous digital experience is not necessary. An interest in digital and technical skills/technology would be advantageous, and would give a great basis for your role to be established and grow, organically.

You will be responsible for the delivering of workshops, training and 1:1 sessions to a range of learners with varying skillsets and backgrounds. This requires a degree of flexibility and ability to adapt to the difference in learner needs.

The nature of the role is peripatetic, and while your base location will be our Newcastle upon Tyne office, travelling is a requirement of the position.

Track the progress and development of each learner using approved systems, processes and procedures so that information including contact details or learner support requirements is accurate and up to date and can be shared as appropriate with colleagues.

Facilitate a robust initial assessment. Discuss, agree, monitor through to completion, appropriate targets with each learner that support appropriate progress, success and personal development. Record progress at every key stage up to completion.

Coach learners on a 1:1 basis to motivate, through a timetabled programme of reviews and progress meetings, supporting the individual for achieving success on their enrolled programme.

Complete appropriate paperwork with learner to meet both internal and external requirements that is detailed, up to date and agreed by all parties. This will include ILP’s (Individual Learning Plans) and any other appropriate paperwork or data input to the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.

Offer advice and guidance when appropriate e.g. signposting to useful resources.

Liaise with other staff as required and subject to confidentiality and relevant EMS policies e.g. Data Protection Act Policy, working in the best interest of each learner.

Effectively communicate with other people within the business including; managers, quality team, trainers, business advisors and relevant external agencies.
