Make a schedule

Starting off with the most simple technique, make a schedule.

Trust me by just laying out your busy schedule, you will start to help detangle the mess. Use your calendar, make an agenda or simply just try to utilise the various apps your phone offers.

Once you’ve got a system in place you’re able to feel the rewards, the satisfaction and gratifying feeling of accomplishing tasks by just marking them complete.

It’s okay to say no

Try to not overcommit yourself, it’s okay to say no.

You only have a certain amount of hours, minutes and even seconds in your day. You have the choice of what you want to fill your day with.

Friends or even family will understand if you need time to catch up or take a break for yourself.

Prioritise

Be selfish. Being selfish can have a negative connotation but sometimes it’s the best thing you can do.

Understand your limits

If there’s one thing you take from this is that truly don’t push yourself past your limit.

Being exhausted won’t get you any further than where you are. Don’t get me wrong pushing yourself to work harder and smarter is beneficial but burning out isn’t worth it. A busy schedule does come with positives such as success and accomplishment.
